Raj Bharti Medical Foundation Hosts Medical Camp for Children with Autism and ADHD in Lucknow
Lucknow, 7th April - Raj Bharti Medical Foundation, a renowned charitable trust dedicated to the welfare of individuals, particularly children, organized a commendable medical camp aimed at providing much-needed support to children suffering from Autism and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). The event took place on the 7th of April at Neuron Brain and Spine Centre, Vibhuti Khand, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow.
Dr. Konika Bansal, a distinguished Paediatric Neurologist and Epilepsy Specialist, was the key speaker at the camp. She addressed the participating parents, equipping them with the knowledge and understanding necessary to identify improper behaviour in their children, such as hyperactivity, deficit in social communication, lack of concentration, and delayed responses. Dr. Bansal provided valuable guidance on how parents can effectively handle and care for these challenges at home.
A team of expert doctors led by Dr. Konika Bansal included Dr. Payal Ahuja, a Speech Therapist, Dr. Sweety Srivastav, a Child Psychologist, and Dr. Rajkumar Gupta, an Occupational Therapist. Together, they conducted thorough examinations of the children attending the camp, subsequently providing individualized treatment recommendations and prescriptions.
Approximately 31 families, along with their children, actively participated in the medical camp and benefited from the invaluable expertise of the medical team, as well as the availability of medicines at discounted prices.
